Michel’s dedication to quality and tradition is clear in each one of his hand-made morsels. With the care of an artist, all of Michel’s creations are crafted from the finest quality ingredients. His impeccable Parisian Macarons – the “Aristocrats” of the French pastries, are a pure expression of his passion for patisserie.

With a variety of flavors from around the World, Michel’s Macarons are the perfect marriage of international flair and classical technique. Exotic fruits such as lychee,  passion fruit or Japanese Matcha tea offer fascinating flavors to otherwise totally traditional macarons. This combination of eclectic tastes and old-fashioned sensibilities makes the Washington area the perfect setting for Michel’s artistry.

 

Michel will also offer a full line of cakes, tarts, breakfast breads, and savory delicacies. Michel approaches each of these creations with his signature commitment to excellence and pursuit of exciting new flavor experiences.

Michel Giaon began his pastry training in France and perfected his knowledge at the prestigious L’ Ecole Lenotre where he graduated with a Diploma in French pastry. He went on to refine his craft for over ten years at several of Paris’ fine patisseries, most notably Laduree. After moving to the United States, Michel directed the Patisserie and Bakery Department for Wegmans Food Markets. Now residing with his family in Reston, Virginia, Michel devotes himself completely to his latest creation, Michel Patisserie.
